It takes hundreds of years to create an inch of topsoil and, over a few windy days, it can blow away. The planet cannot afford the environmental cost of feeding more than four billion people expected to be added to the population by the end of the century unless farming practices improve dramatically around the globe. In this panel discussion, meet the small-scale farming families dedicated to regeneration Lincoln's farmland with sustainable growing practices. Engage with these farming changemakers as they talk about how they got started, the unique challenges of farming in the modern world, and the farmer's place in the community. Farming and nature are intrinsically linked. The most successful farmers work just as hard to improve their land as they do to harvest their fields. These Lincoln families have struck the balance to keep the land sustainably producing for generations to feed the community. Free, Monetary Donation Appreciated Drinks available for purchase
